The Music Production 2 course (PAWKS 2) guides 11th grade students through a study of the various
aspects of the music industry including the production of music with computer
technology, music appreciation, composition, and industry structure. Students start with their developing
familiarity with musical theory, performance and creative processes, and
integrate these areas with digital technology to enhance their understanding of
the musical product development process. Combined with an understanding of the
industry structure, students will begin to identify career interests,
employability skills, and effective work habits.
